Fire Safety Visit

The Summerfield preschoolers spent a few days in October talking about fire safety. As part of this discussion, Claude Scheibe, fire chief of Summerfield, visited the classroom to show the children what a firefighter wears to fight a fire, and to give some good advice to them. He also asked the preschoolers to remind their parents to check their batteries in their smoke detectors. While Claude was visiting, the children received a "Hello" from the Marshall County Police Department on his pager. That was cool! The picture shows junior firefighter, Levi Meybrunn, trying on some equipment!
