Varsity Scholars Bowl BEGINS!!

On Tuesday, November 13, Nathan Hollis, James Shaughnessy, Stuart O'Neil, and Adam Ronnebaum went to Sabetha to compete in this year's first varsity Scholar's Bowl meet. The boys went 3-2 and defeated the Wetmore Cardinals whose team was undefeated going into the last match of the day.

AHS vs Rock Creek 30-20 Win
AHS vs Wetmore 60-20 Win
Nathan Hollis said, "On Tuesday we had our first meet of the season. I was pretty proud of the boys and the effort they put forth. I feel we are ready to make the jump from mediocrity to outright dominance. We lost one of our higher scorers from last year and I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself to pick up the slack."
