As a result of the days that we have missed due to severe weather, and the potential that we have for even more weather related issues, the Axtell Teacher's Association and the USD 488 Board of Education have ratified the Letter of Understanding that addresses the schedule adjustments that we will now follow.

The March 17th and 18th Parent/Teacher conferences will be cancelled.  As a result of this, Monday, April 21 will be a full day of school for students and staff.  In addition, we will cancel the scheduled early release and late start times that have been tentatively set for the remainder of the semester on the following dates:  March 19, April 16, and May 14.  The Friday early dismissal times on March 7, April 4, and May 2 will still take place. 

Each school will send progress reports to parents during the week of March 17th.  If any parent would like to schedule an individual conference, they should contact the school office to do so.
