February 14, 2008
On January 26, 2008, the AHS cheerleaders held their annual AHS Jr. Cheer Camp. On Sunday, 35 girls, ranging from grades Kindergarten through sixth grade, attended the camp. The girls K-3rd grade learned a dance to the remix “CINDERELLA” taught by Ashley Blonquist, Jamie Deters, and Lindsey Smith. Grades 4th-6th learned a dance to the remix “Cheerleader”. The girls also learned a cheer so they can show their school pride! The girls performed their dances at the Varsity Boy’s game against the Washington County Tigers. They did a tremendous job with their dances and showing their spirit at the games.
The AHS cheerleaders of 2007-08 would like to thank all the girls for participating in Cheer Camp and would also like to thank the all parents for allowing their children to participate. We had a WONDERFUL time at cheer camp and can’t wait to see all of the Jr. Cheer Camp participants again next year!
