Eagles Fly to Victory!

Six Axtell Eagle tracksters competed in the state track meet held the end of May. The following are results from the meet.
Reggie Scott took the gold (1st place) in Class 1A triple jump by jumping 46 feet 4.5 inches. He also won the gold in the 400 meter dash. Reggie broke the school record for the 400 meter dash with a time of 50.2.
The 4 X 4 relay consisting of Taylor Jesse, James Shaughnessy, Reggie Scott and Jason Ronnebaum finished 15th with a time of 3:44.48.
Erin Koch tied for ninth place in the high jump missing her final jump of 4-10.
As a team, the Axtell Eagles finished in 9th place.
