The 2008 Homecoming Candidates and their academic information is listed below.

Loren Hulsing is the son of Donald and Marsha Hulsing.  Through high school, Loren has been or will be involved with football (4 years) and track (2 years).  Loren’s noteworthy achievements include honorable mention (3 years).  Following high school, Loren plans to attend Manhattan Area Technical College and major in Computer Aided Drafting and Business Computer Technology.

Deacon Ludwig is the son of Daniel and Denise Ludwig.  Through high school, Deacon has been or will be involved with football (4 years) and track (3 years).  Deacon’s noteworthy achievements include Scholars Bowl (3 years), State Scholars Junior Year, FFA (3 years), FFA Vice President Junior Year, FFA President Senior Year, Jr. /Sr. Play (2 years), National Honor Society (2 years), Honor Roll (4 years), TVL All-Academic Team (2 years), Sophomore Year Class President, Junior Year Class Vice President, Senior Year Class President, and Student Council President (1 year).  Following high school, Deacon plans to attend college and major in construction management.

Adam Ronnebaum is the son of Larry and JoAnn Ronnebaum.  Through high school, Adam has been or will be involved with football (4 years), basketball (4 years), and track (4 years).  Adam’s noteworthy achievements include FCCLA (3 years), ACSC (1 year), FFA (3 years), FFA Vice President (1 year), Scholars Bowl (4 years), State Scholars Junior Year, Student Council (4 years), TVL All-American Team (2 years), Who’s Who Among American High School Students, Honor Roll (4 years), and National Honor Society (2 years).  Following high school, Adam plans to attend Kansas State University and major in Engineering. 

Jason Ronnebaum is the son of Mike and Janet Ronnebaum.  Through high school, Jason has been or will be involved with football (4 years), basketball (4 years), and track (4 years).  Jason’s noteworthy achievements include FCCLA (3 years), ACSC (1 year), National Honor Society (2 years), jr. /sr. play (2 years), honor roll (4 years), TVL All-Academic Team (2 years), and All-League in Football and Basketball (1 year).  Following high school, Jason plans to attend Kansas State University and major in Accounting.

Maggie Burger is the daughter of Robert and Betty Burger.  Through high school, Maggie has been or will be involved with volleyball (4 years) and basketball manager (1 year).  Maggie’s noteworthy achievements include Scholars Bowl (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years), FCCLA (3 years), ACSC (1 year), Art (1 year), jr./sr. play (2 years), choir (4 years), forensics (1 year), honor roll (4 years), TVL all Academic Team (2 years), FCCLA Vice President of Public Relations (1 year), FCCLA Vice President of Recreations (1 year), Won Top Gold at District and State STAR Events and Silver at National STAR Events Freshman year.  Following high school, Maggie plans to attend Kansas University and plans to major in Creative Writing or Journalism.

Erin Koch is the daughter of Alan and Emily Koch.  Through high school, Erin has been or will be involved with volleyball (4 years), basketball (4 years), and track (4 years).  Erin’s noteworthy achievements include FFA (1 year), yearbook (2 years), jr. /sr. play (2 years), national honor society (2 years), freshman class president, Student Council (3 years), Who’s Who Among American High School Students, TVL All-Academic Team (1 year), and Honor Roll (4 years).  Following high school, Erin plans to attend Washburn University and major in Athletic Training and Pre-physical Therapy.  Then continue her education getting her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Kansas University.

Jessica Peschel is the daughter of Roland and Brenda Peschel.  Through high school, Jessica has been or will be involved with volleyball (4 years), cross country (1 year), basketball (4 years), and track (4 years).  Jessica’s noteworthy achievements include FCCLA (1 year), jr. /sr. play (2 years), band (3 years), yearbook (2 years), national honor society (2 years), scholars bowl (4 years), student council vice president, class vice president (3 years), junior class president, Who’s Who Among American High School Students, National Honor Roll, TVL All-Academic Team (2 years), and Honor Roll (4 years).  Following high school, Jessica plans to attend Washburn University and major in Athletic Training and Pre-physical Therapy.  Then continue her education getting her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Kansas University.

Hillary Mitchell is the daughter of Bruce and Eulala Mitchell.  Through high school, Hillary has been or will be involved with volleyball (4 years).  Hillary’s noteworthy achievements include FCCLA (4 years), Scholars Bowl (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years), Choir (4 years), Art (1 year), jr. /sr. play (2 years), Forensics (1 year), FCCLA Vice President of Finances (1 year) and FCCLA Vice President (1 year), TVL All Academic Team (2 years), honor roll (4 years), and won Top Gold at District and State STAR Events and silver at National STAR Events her freshman year.  Following high school, Hillary plans to attend Kansas State University and to major in Computer Sciences.
