Axtell Rolls Over Blue Valley

Axtell kicked off to start the game and forced Blue Valley to punt. Axtell drove down the field and scored on a Jason Ronnebaum 13-yard touchdown run. Axtell's defense held its ground once again and forced Blue Valley to punt a second time. Axtell went right down the field again and scored on a Jason Ronnebaum two-yard touchdown run. Blue Valley just couldn't move the ball due to Axtell's defense in the first quarter.
Axtell took advantage of the situation and scored on another Jason Ronnebaum one-yard touchdown run. Blue Valley finally found a little bit of offense and scored on a 18-yard run. Drew Kuckelman intercepted the pass to set up a Drew Kuckelman 19-yard touchdown pass to Jason Ronnebaum. At the half Axtell led Blue Valley 24-8.
To start the third quarter, Axtell's defense recorded Blue Valley for a Safety. Axtell took advantage and scored on a Taylor Jesse 30 yard touchdown run. Drew Kuckelman intercepted the ball to set up a 30-yard touchdown pass to Adam Ronnebaum. Blue Valley answered back this time on a Adam Nelson 37-yard touchdown pass.
Drew Kuckelman intercepted it to set up Adam Ronnebaum's 29-yard touchdown run about halfway through the fourth quarter. Tyler Heiman caught an interception to set up Taylor Jesse's 28-yard touchdown run. Drew Kuckelman took three knees to run the clock out and capture the win for the Eagles. Axtell's overall record now stands at 4-2.
