KU Honors Jessica & Jason

   Jessica Peschel and Jason Ronnebaum received special recognition from the KU Alumni Association for their academic accomplishments on February 18, 2009 in Blue Rapids, KS.  Attending the Honors Program with Jessica and Jason were their parents, Roland & Brenda Peschel and Mike & Janet Ronnebaum, and Brian Rottinghaus, Principal at AHS.

   The KU Alumni Association sponsors the Kansas Honors Program.  Regardless of what college or university the student chooses to attend, The Alumni Association wants to honor the student as a top Kansas high school student.  Each year only a selected number of students throughout Kansas earn this prestigious honor by ranking in the top 10 percent of their senior class.  With this outstanding academic accomplishment, Jessica and Jason each received a special edition of The American Heritage Dictionary in both hard-cover and CD formats.
