Bern License Day

On October 23, 2009 KS Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Helm came to Bern School to present certificates and licenses to students in Mrs. Schulte’s first and second grades. The first graders received their licenses to read after competing the first book in Treasures reading program, reading nine phonic readers, and six Saxon readers. Also, the second graders received their licensee to write after writing three state paragraphs, six photo writes, an autobiography, and an application for writing license. Many parent and guest attended this great celebration of learning. Now we will keep reading and writing! Click on the icon below to view pictures!
